Wenona Van Derhei, DDS, is passionate about her profession and her dental patients, helping to create beautiful smiles and assisting her patients take care of their oral health. A practicing dentist since 1996, Dr. Van Derhei enjoys her time spent with her patients, getting to know each individually and hearing about their families, their pastimes, and their adventures. Dr. Van Derhei is a strong believer in continuing education in dental procedures, treatments, and options. She knows the importance of being able to offer her patients the most up-to-date, proven dental treatments, and she and her staff are regular attendees at dental seminars and conferences.

Personal Life

Dr. Van Derhei is married to Dr. Patrick Van Derhei, who is also a dentist. They have two children: a son, Aidan and a daughter, Ashley. Very active in her community, Dr. Van Derhei is an assistant Sunday school teacher as well as a volunteer at Pucketts Mill School. She supports local charities, including food banks, the Toys for Tots program, and the Angel Tree program, in addition to local athletic programs. In her spare time, Dr. Van Derhei keeps herself healthy through exercising and working out, but her favorite times are those spent with her husband and children.

Patrick Van Derhei, DDS, MSD

Dr. Patrick Van Derhei is a Wisconsin native and co-owner of VIP Family and Implant Dentistry. He has been in private practice since 2002.

Dr. Van Derhei obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1994. There, he was captain of the rowing team and majored in bacteriology. Dr. Van Derhei received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Creighton University in 1998 before beginning his prosthodontic residency at Indiana University. He completed his prosthodontic training with a dual certificate in prosthodontics and maxillofacial prosthetics in 2002.

Drs. Patrick and Wenona Van Derhei established the current office in 2002 and have been one of Dacula’s premier implant and restorative dentists for over ten years.
